Mahj Queen™ tiles were designed to be a set you can cherish and play with for many years to come. I know luxury tiles are a big investment, and I take that responsibility seriously.

At Mahj Queen, quality isn’t just a box I check, it’s something I personally obsess over. I’ve been extensively play-testing all three of our tile sets for more than six months now, and I’ve put them through just about everything. They’ve lived in tile bags, been tossed into totes, and I regularly leave them in my car here in Minnesota (so they’ve experienced heat, humidity, freezing temps… all the fun stuff). Now, I'm not recommending you abuse your tiles to the degree I do... but they truly are very durable. They’ve held up beautifully through hundreds of games with no chipping, no scratching, no delamination, no warping, and no separation. 

How Our Tiles Are Made

Our Modern Classic and Tea Party tiles include a clear acrylic layer on the back. My understanding is that this process differs from what other factories with delamination issues have used, and it's important to note that every manufacturer has its own proprietary methods. What I can share is that my factory is incredibly diligent. Each tile goes through:

  • Layering and forming
  • Cutting and polishing
  • Laser engraving
  • Hand-painting and sealing to protect the artwork
  • A final polish
  • Individual inspection before shipment

Because of the care that goes into this process, I would be genuinely surprised to see long-term durability issues such as separation or delamination. 

If Something Ever Goes Wrong

While I don’t expect problems, I want you to feel completely confident when you buy from Mahj Queen. If your tiles ever arrive with a defect or develop an issue down the line: delamination, separation, or anything that impacts their use or your joy — I will stand behind them fully.

I also want you to know that this level of care extends beyond tiles. Our mats, bags, racks, and accessories are thoughtfully designed and made to hold up to regular play. If anything you purchase from Mahj Queen ever arrives damaged or doesn’t perform the way it should, I will take care of you — no exceptions.

Your satisfaction matters more to me than anything else (including my profits). Whether you need a single tile replaced, prefer a replacement set, a full refund, or another solution, I’ll always make it right.
